They are darkish enough that folks can not see inside, but skinny enough to let the solarshine in.

Almost like the weight of a garment or dinner napkin. On the opposite hand, they are not ideal for temperature or gentle blocking off. You may add a grommet-ed liner, however then there are too many grommets on the rod and it gets onerous to push them. The grommets are a rubbed bronze colour (I was expecting silver to check my rods) however I just used them because they still appear good.
